Hi,

This is Emir Cetin writing. I have a kind of life that mother and father (Ayse Cetin & Huseyin Cetin) have ended, sorry(!) started, by saying how wonderful it would be to have a daughter,  after the birth of my older brother (Murat). But obviously they agreed on that this was "God's Emir". Also, i'm the grandson of Osman and Ayse Akcali(and even the youngest one!)

Anyway, if i should mention about my education a little, you must know that, all  these complicated feelings that my parents were going through, prevented me from being with them for a long time. After my graduation from middle school in Adana/Kozan where i was born and still where you can find my parents, I was sent to a high school, with scholarship ,named "Ozel Toros Fen Lisesi" in Mersin near Adana but still away from my parents. (of course it was my choice!!) After those 3 memorable years that i've spent in high school, as if it wasn't still far enough, i continued my education by going to the far-west end of Turkey, Izmir, to the Department of Chemical Engineering, in Ege University, in which i still study.

Again, my tendency to being away from my parents did not end since I began to enjoy the situation of me not being their daughter. I went to the University of La Sapienza in Roma by the help of Erasmus-Socrates Student Exchange Program to study the second year.

Nowadays, I am preparing and presenting a radio programme every thursday at 18.00 in Radio Dokuz Eylul. At the same time, I'm working on designing posters, brochures and logo types. I'm the local representative of the student organization named "ESN-Izmir" consisting of foreign students coming to Turkey by Erasmus-Socrates Student Exchange program and also I'm the president of consultant committee of this organization.
